The Application process for the 7th ESIG Product Stewardship Award is now closed !

Established in 1999, the ESIG Product Stewardship Award is designed to showcase and reward excellence and continuous improvement in the use of solvents. The application process for the 7th ESIG ProductStewardship Award, which is held this year, closed on 31 May 2009. ESIG would like to thank and wish good luck to all those who submitted their applications.

Entries will be considered during the summer by an independent expert panel of judges consisting of enior representatives from the European Commission, the European Parliament, media and tradeassociations. The prize-giving ceremony will take place in the framework of the Cefic Responsible Care Forum and ICCA Congress in Prague on 23 October 2009.

DVD on Solvents

Supporting the sustainable and responsible use of solvents through dialogue, information-sharing and solutions that address health, safety and environmental issues is a key task for ESIG.
In order to further strengthen the safe handling of solvents ESIG - together with the SIA (Solvents Industry Association) -  now has produced a DVD, which illustrates all the fields where solvents are used requiring a special and careful manipulation.
